As luck would have it, I came down with my first cold of the season this weekend. One thing that always makes me feel better when I’m under the weather is a grilled cheese sandwich.
The grilled cheese below is one of our family favorites. It’s great for lunch on a cold day and can even work as a quick and easy dinner option with a salad or some fruit on the side.

September in Ohio means clam bake season! It’s always fun to go to a full on clam bake however each year we have a traditional dinner with my mom that consists of just clams and herb bread. The recipe below results in an amazingly flavorful broth that is exceptional when mopped up with the herb bread, also shown below.

Happy Taco Tuesday, friends! If you love tacos, I’ve got a great recipe for you to try out! This recipe actually comes from my friends Bob and Peg, extraordinary entertainers and cooks. I’m not sure if they created this recipe or found it elsewhere but for purposes of this post, I’ll give credit to them as they introduced me to it!
