Mmmm…Luxardo cherries! Those succulent orbs found at craft cocktail bars throughout the world. Sure, I’ve been known to snag them from friends’ drinks on occasion. Always on the hunt for more ways to use these delicious morsels, I stumbled across this cookie recipe and decided to give it a try. Add them to your holiday cookie repertoire this year for an extra-special treat!
Entertaining season is almost here! These tasty Brie bites harness holiday flavors with spiced cranberry sauce and pecans. They’re easy to make and can be stored in the freezer to have on hand for surprise guests!

Move over charcuterie, there’s a new board in town! Have you tried making a baked potato board? It’s the perfect thing for a Saturday or Sunday at home watching football and is also easy to transport for a tailgate event.
Baked Potato Board Inspiration
A recent Mexican-themed baked potato.
Baked potato boards are versatile and easy to scale for just a few people or a large crowd. For a family weekend at home, you might wish to stick to just one of the theme ideas below (or create your own favorite). For entertaining a large group, prepare several theme idea “stations” and let people create whatever combination suits them best! Easy-peasy.
For displaying the toppings, I love the versatility of white porcelain ramekins like these on Amazon. We use them for so many things in the kitchen! It’s easy to prep most of the toppings in advance and to refrigerate or keep in a cooler until needed. For hot items (potatoes, cooked meats, or beans) use a full or mini-size crockpot or insulated serve-ware to keep food safe if you are going to be out and about.

Best Baked Potato
Pre-heat oven to 450°. Liberally pierce all potatoes to be cooked with a fork. Place potatoes on a wiring cooling rack set on top of a baking sheet. The wire cooling rack will ensure that air circulates and that the potatoes will cook evenly on all sides.
Bake for 25 minutes then remove potatoes from the oven and brush with melted butter using a pastry brush. Sprinkle potatoes with a pinch of kosher salt. Return potatoes to oven and bake another 20-30 minutes until fully cooked and yielding to light pressure.
Can be kept warm in a crockpot or by wrapping them in foil. When ready to serve, slice open lengthwise and fluff up the interior.
