Don’t shoot the messenger but fall is on the way! I, for one, plan to keep enjoying each and every warm day and balmy night but am also starting to think about adding a few fall pieces into my wardrobe.
Today I’m sharing five fun trends for Fall, 2021! All are fairly easy to wear and I’ve provided inspirational shopping links at a variety of price points.

Five Fun Trends for Fall 2021
Saturated Colors
Saturated color is an easy place to start! Wear small touches of this trend now with your summer whites before adopting more head-to-toe looks come fall.

Looser-cut, Lighter-wash Denim
I haven’t waved adios to my skinny jeans yet but I have started incorporating a few cuts that are a bit looser and lighter into rotation.
Sweater Vests
Wear them on their own now, layer them come fall!
Thick Soled Shoes & Boots
In a shoe rut? Add some sole! Thicker soled shoes like platforms, flatforms, and lug soles are all the rage and make for a quick update. NOTE: I wouldn’t spend a lot of money here – more of a fun, trendy update than something worth investing in.
Textured Handbags
Fuzzy, puffy, ruched, and braided are all hot trends in handbags this fall. For extra credit: find a handle/strap with some chain detailing. You’ll be doubly on-trend. How great of a find is this fur and chain satchel bag from Shein – only $8!

Hi Betsy. I did get rid of my skinny jeans, because I had worn them for years, and just needed a change. I picked up 2 pairs of midrise, straight leg jeans, from Mavi, when we were in Turkey. I guess I” have them hemmed to my ankle bone. I also want to add a looser fitting blazer, to my wardrobe, this fall. I tried a grey one on in Massimo Dutti, that I think I want. I really like the idea of a sweater vest, as well. I remember weariong those in the 70’s. Thanks for sharing. xx
I’ve heard Mavi jeans are fantastic! Am also in search of a looser blazer, I’ll check out Massimo Dutti (not sure if they ship to US). Thanks again for stopping by and have a great weekend!
