Patriotic Finds for the Home
It can be worth your time to build a nice collection of patriotic home décor. Personally, I think an Americana theme works for the entire summer, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Perhaps with a bit of “extra” for July 4th.
Wouldn’t you know that two of my favorite finds this year are food related! A bright red ice cream maker, because who doesn’t love homemade ice cream on the Fourth of July and picture-perfect pinwheel cookies from Williams-Sonoma. They did all the hard work, you just need to slice and bake.
Star-Spangled Clothes & Accessories
Americans are known for their national pride, especially on patriotic holidays like July 4th. Show your colors (tastefully) with some red, white, and blue garb or accessories! I’ve even found an item or two for the pooch.
