Can you still see me? I’m wearing camo today! Not sure what it is because I’ve never hunted a thing in my life but I am just crazy for camo print. The typically neutral colors blend so well with my wardrobe basics that are mostly black or denim and the subtle print adds just a bit of extra interest to an outfit.
Traditionally an autumn print, today I’m showing you how to wear camo in the summer months as well as how to transition it into fall.

How to Wear Camo: Summer Soft Shades
When I saw this very pale pink and grey camo tee, I knew I had to have it, even though it was a bit more than what I typically spend on cotton tees! The soft colors are perfect for summer and the slightly a-line cut further enhances the casual and swingy warm-weather feel. It runs true to size and is also available in a light blue shade.
I’ve paired it here with my XCVI Wearables pants in grey. These pants are so easy to wear – like joggers but with a more polished finish. The Wearables line is fantastic for travel and home, alike, and is available in plus sizes (view here). The top also looks great with denim – cutoffs, jeans, a miniskirt, whatever!
To enhance the pale pink, I accented this look with some rose gold sandals and earrings, a cream cross-body bag, and a black/cream straw hat. For transitioning to cooler nights, I’d pair this outfit with a blush cardigan or even a light teddy jacket and a pair of booties or sneakers.

How to Wear Camo: First Signs of Fall
For a second take on camo, I paired an XCVI Wearables skirt (I’m telling you their stuff is SO comfy) with an oatmeal-colored tee, a denim shirt left unbuttoned, and taupe booties. You could do a similar version of this look with a denim jacket or switch things up by pairing it with a cozy cardigan or cinched-waist utility vest.

- J. Crew Denim shirt (similar)
- XCVI Wearables Trace skirt in camo sycamore (also love camo briar green)
