Our travel may be on hold but our ability to daydream most certainly is NOT! We’re often asked where we get the inspiration for some of our trips. Travel vlogs play a huge role in that. Today I’m sharing eight favorite travel vloggers that you need to watch!
Through vloggers we get a better feel for what sights at a location will be of interest to us. We also learn about the timing of festivals, unusual shops/restaurants, and other unique experiences. Who needs Netflix on the weekend when you could be checking out these videographers instead?

Kara & Nate
Kara & Nate are hands-down the travel vloggers we watch most religiously. They’re an engaging and adventurous couple that started traveling on a tight budget 2016 but started incorporating some luxury experiences as they grew and gained sponsorships. I recommend watching them chronologically from the beginning for the best experience but if you’d like an overview, they recently released the documentary below which outlines their journey to 100 countries, a milestone they reached earlier this year.
Kara & Nate were our inspiration for booking this particular Nile cruise while in Egypt (see related blog post HERE) and this cruise in the Galapagos. We were supposed to be on this trip (along with other parts of Ecuador and Peru) now and hope to rebook for some time in the next year. Earlier this year we decided we needed to add this Antarctic cruise that they shared onto our travel “to-do” list!
Tangerine Travels
Maddie and Jordan of Tangerine Travels are a quirky young couple that produces a variety of travel vlogs with a recent focus on Mexico. They started traveling in Mexico at the beginning of 2018, without a destination in mind. Last year they decided to leave the US and make Puerto Morelos their base while continuing to travel across the country and world. We really enjoy hearing about their unique perspective on living as expats! And if you are fans of Las Vegas, they also have an extensive Vegas series.
Flying the Nest
Stephen and Jess, an Aussie couple, have seen an impressive amount of the world often participating in very specialized and local experiences. They recently purchased a home in Perth where they are awaiting the arrival of their new baby girl! It will be interesting to see where life takes this couple post-baby but in the meantime, they have scores of videos for you to catch up on.
Grrrltraveler
Christine Kaaloa of GrrrlTraveler offers the unique perspective of a solo, female traveler. Her videos include the traditional travel guides that others offer, as well as the unique dilemmas encountered by solo and female travelers. She also has a fun series on her finds in 7-11 stores.
Lost Leblanc
Christian LeBlanc is the Canadian vlogger behind Lost LeBlanc. He specializes in Asian travel but has also covered Peru, Panama and a few other countries. His girlfriend Katy Esquivel is a well-known fashion influencer and is featured in many of his videos.

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a travel vlogger, Christian recently released a Content Creator Academy that will teach you the ropes. A FREE trial “Boot Camp” service is available HERE.
Drew Binsky
Drew Binsky set out to visit every country on earth and he has nearly (191 of 197) reached his goal! Many of his videos are in the form of superlative lists so if you’re curious to know the best countries, cities, sights, etc. to visit (at least according to one person) be sure to check those out!
The Endless Adventure
Eric & Allison have been traveling the world for about 5 years and are on a mission to scope out the best and most unique foods along the way.
Eva zu Beck
Eva zu Beck travels to many of the most mysterious places in the world. Think Saudi Arabia, Kurdistan, Syria and Nepal. Her vlogs make for a unique opportunity to “visit” some of these less frequently accessed destinations.
NOTE: If you are in the midst of trying to cancel or reschedule a more complicated itinerary, this video offers a few tips. For information on trip/travel insurance for any upcoming trips, check out this post.
Never stop dreaming. And until next time….keep cultivating a simple, stylish and satisfying life!
