Color Story
Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2020 has a lot of people singing the blues (see what I did there ). While they’re getting a lot of backlash for running with a safe choice, I personally like the selection.

Not too dark, not too light, classic blue pairs well with neutrals and offers lots of options for punching up with a bit of color. Pastels (particularly pink, lilac, mint) and sunset tones will also be popular this spring. Check out the slideshow below for some palette inspirations!
The Flowy Dress
Light and airy, like springtime itself, flowy dresses are a harbinger of spring for 2020. Midi lengths remain the most prevalent but mini and maxi styles can be found as well. If you need a spring/summer wedding look, this is it!
The key is profile – think looser sleeves, wider, flowing hemlines and layers. Soft, soft, soft. If you’re petite, take it easy on the tiers and layers. Stick to looks with just a bit of volume in the sleeve or hemline.
Strappy Sandals
Draw attention to those gams with strappy sandals! This spring, the more wrapping, twisting, etc. involved, the better. If that’s not you, go for a variation. Perhaps a slide with a multitude of thin straps that will give a similar look but without the complication. This is also a great option if you’re prone to thicker ankles.
Chain Link Jewelry
Chain link jewelry is having a real moment this spring! It is everywhere. Pick your poison: a necklace, earring, bracelet or ring. Or, go outside of the jewelry box. This eyeglass chain will also give you a quick update. Look for chain details on handbags, shoes and clothing items as well.
Pouch Purses
Thank Bottega Veneta for kicking off the pouch purse (variations: croissant, hobo, etc.) trend we’re seeing this spring! To update your tote or clutch, look for a slouchy half-moon shape to freshen up your profile
