Can you believe we are less than a week away from Thanksgiving? Time to start thinking about getting those turkeys and pies in the oven! Thought I’d give you a sneak peak at what I’m planning for my Thanksgiving outfit this year.

My Thanksgiving Outfit
I typically host Thanksgiving and it can be a bit of a challenge to figure out what to wear each year. It gets hot when I’m running around setting the table and prepping food. But then I get cold as soon as I sit down to eat. Dark colors are wise for me because I have a tendency towards spills when cooking (and eating – ha,ha)!
The outfit I chose seemed to fit the bill. The sleeveless top will work well while I’m prepping. Come dinner time, I can slip on the cardigan. Dark colors and a pattern to hide any cooking accidents. Flat shoes as I’ll be on my feet most of the day. Winner, winner – turkey dinner!

Shop the Look
You can shop my actual outfit below, except for the trousers. Mine are a suede-feel pair from Banana Republic several years ago. I was able to find a similar suede-like style from Good American that I included below as well as a few alternate options for a similar look (3 outfits below, scroll on grey arrow to view).
Thanks so much for your likes, shares, and follows! Until next time,
You look fabulous in that outfit!
Thanks so much!
That is a very elegant top! Love the design and the colors!
Thank you!
The colors are perfect… but no apron while cooking?
Haha! Good catch! I usually do but needed to shoot the outfit! #bloggerissues
