Happy St. Patty’s Day, friends! “Wearing of the Green” is the theme of the day. And St. Patrick’s Day requires a bold green like emerald…none of that olive or mint nonsense. Sadly I only own teal and olive greens so will be sporting my neutrals today topped by a shamrock necklace given to me by a friend after a trip to Ireland. Quick trip to Walgreen’s for a hat and some beads or a boa and we’ll be in business!
Below are three “green” looks for casual, office and date night St. Patrick’s Day inspiration.
Casual Green
Great for parade watching, at least if you’re in Savannah! I’d need to pair this with a turtleneck, boots and ski parka for Cleveland’s parade this year.
- Banana Repbulic Avery Crop Pant
- Banana Republic Linen V-Neck
- Gap 1969 Denim Jacket
- Adidas Stan Smith Sneaker
- Cuyana Top-Zip Satchel
- Banana Republic Delicate Pearl Y Necklace
- Princess Cut Stud Earrings
Office Green
With it’s ruffled front, this bright green pencil skirt is right on trend. It’s a bold look for the office so keep all other pieces simple and neutral.
- TopShop Midi Skirt
- Cuyana Silk Wrap Blouse
- Kate Spade Licorice Too Pump
- Cuyana Top-Zip Satchel
- Banana Republic Delicate Pearl Y Necklace
- Princess Cut Stud Earrings
Date Night Green
Pair some skinnies with an emerald tank and color-blocked sandals. The lace bomber gives a little cover but will let your color show through. For a bolder look, try swapping the neutral tote for a violet cross-body. Love how it ties in with the bit of violet on the heel of the shoe.
- Lulu’s Emerald Green Tank Top
- Hudson Collin Skinny Jean
- Ella Moss Lace Bomber
- Kate Spade Menorca Sandal
- Cuyana Top-Zip Satchel
- Banana Republic Delicate Pearl Y Necklace
- Princess Cut Stud Earrings
- ALTERNATE BAG: Kate Spade Crossbody
